regarding stax

taken directly from laysstax.com

LAY'S STAX has the grab & go, irresistable great taste you expect from LAY'S, now available in a stacked potato crisp.

essentially it's a pringle.
i chose the header "len loves lays stax" because of a commercial that aired several months ago that featured a thin asian/american man stacking lawn furniture, claiming that he loves to stack things after eating this new lay's product. i have never eaten a lay's brand 'potato crisp', let alone a whole stack. i can't honestly say i love them because i have never tried them. in fact, i don't even want to try them. if i am disappointed, i may be tempted to change my header, and that would require far too much thought and energy.
as for eating the bowl, for those that don't know don't deserve to know. this tim horton's advertisement hasn't been run in years.

mmm nostalgia.

so last night i went furniture shopping. i picked up a chocolate brown with taupe piping microfibre couch with a cheise lounge. sounds fancy eh? i also purchased two bar stools, and a 32" television. my bank account is now broken. oh well, that'll happen, especially when buying a new home. i figured i may as well go out going all the way.

i love this time of year. it's so crisp and cool outside. it's the perfect temperature. i think it's about 3 degrees celcius. there's snow on the mountains and the overall mood is enchanting. you know what else is enchanting? cap'n crunch. well, it's not enchanting but it tastes damn good. haha

i'd just like to thank evan for getting me into modest mouse and interpol lately. and i was incorrect, ev - modest mouse doesn't sound like the pixies to me anymore, but you can definately see where they get their influence.

no more smith in hodgins

it's been a long week(end). it's interesting how one person can hold the fate of many in the palms of their hands. this said, i suppose, can be applied to two different groups in two different situations. my thoughts are with you, hedrick family.

other than this one particular thing, my weekend was pretty good. i went ice skating with candice on thursday night and had a terrific time. i'm actually happy that my previous plan backed out on me. we took some photos on her fancy cameraphone and had a sliding (aka. bailing) competition. she totally kicked my ass.

anyway, i'm just really excited about moving into my new place. unfortunately not all of my appliances will be installed by the time i move in. hopefully they'll all be there by the 3rd of december.

it's like pushing a pot roast out of your eye socket - it's just not happening

did you know that there are five greek restaurants in chilliwack? that’s a pretty intense figure if you consider the population. the funny thing is that i’ve been to three of them in the past month. the food pales in comparison to vasso’s homemade, but it will have to do. this is chilliwack we’re talking about here. It’s the furthest thing from anything remotely greek.

i’ve got awesome friends. just wanted to send this brief, as the kids call them, ‘shoutout’ i've had a couple birthdays to attend in the past two weeks. happy birthday to my buddies evan, mr. chris, and candice. this woot is for you.

for everyone that does not yet know this information, my youngest (and only) sister just recently got engaged to a mr. robert rindt. i'm really happy for her. congrats lindsay, rob is a kick ass guy. this whole hodgins family is all growed up. i bought a house. lindsay is getting married. garry is in university. oh how the time does fly.

tracy to answer your question, the new music is nothing like the acoustic-based ballad rock i write on my own. travis' and my music is more like a mix of sloan, the rolling stones, jimi hendrix, and the doodletown pipers.
