payday

so travis and i still don't have a band name yet. that's probably the most difficult thing about this new band. oh well. we've been busy working on new songs for pre-production to begin on sunday. we've got a whopping 5 songs for our producer to have a listen to. if all goes well, we could be recording by january. now i just have to find a way to finance the recording as well as pay a mortgage. roommates? any takers? come on chris, i'm counting on you buddy...

i can't wait to build my own recording studio in my basement. i can't wait to move into my own home. the whole idea of owning my own home is ludicrous, but liberating at the same time. i'm proud and i'm poor. how the hell am i going to do this? i won't be going out and being social for quite some time. i guess i'll be hosting the parties at my place, but you have to supply the alcohol.

i went to the casino with my fellow coast mtn. icecreamers. darren won 100 bucks. i didn't win anything because i didn't gamble. i didn't gamble because i couldn't figure out how the fucking slot machine works. i was ok with that though. i only had 25 cents i wanted to throw away. i find the idea of gambling to be disgusting. put a bunch of drunken twats in a room and tell them to throw their hard-earned money at each other. i was one of those drunk people last night, and i proved i couldn't hit a broad side of a barn with my lowly quarter. woof.
